The Artist with a fresh Style and Approach!

Armida Francisco is world class graphic designer, painter, and freelance illustrator. She is a prominent illustrator of both books and magazine articles. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a degree in commercial advertising at the Far Eastern University. She was married to an Iranian national, the Late Architect Karim Rad and is the mother of three children.

She was a freelance comic illustrator of Atlas Publications from 1976 to 1980. She illustrated Voltes Five comics in 1979. From 1985 to 2000 she lived in Iran with her late husband and children where she illustrated several children’s books, and joined the Minor Graphics Exhibit. One of her works is part of the permanent collection of the Qazvin Museum in Iran . In 1995 her talent was recognized as she received the award of Best Graphic Designer of the year.

She uses her own imagination in creating independent design and implementing various compositions. She introduces new ideas and techniques in painting, using warm and cool colors carefully designed to impart the message of broken light. Francisco does not use brushes in her artwork, rather each painting receives her personal touch as she uses her fingers to make these Masterpieces, giving her paintings a the unique textures and flare that make a Francisco origanl a valuable addition to any collection.
